Now that the site is back up I went to login and I am told that my username/password is incorrect/not found. So I went to have my pass emailed to me but I am told that my username can't be found. Help, how can I sign in....my username in the forum and site are the same.
TwiceMore ![]() thank you for the help. I ended up closing Firefox and reopening it and tried the login and it works....

All I can suggest is that you make sure you typed in your name with the capital letters too. I got an error when i first tried with shinigamisoup so i tried ShinigamiSoup and all was well
lol no clue if that will help you though

I don't know how to log in to this site. It never asked me for a password during registration and when i try to retrieve the password,it sends me to the sites homepage. The "contact us" link doesn't seem to work so i just supposed i might get a response to this here.

golden: site and forum accounts are separate - i'm guessing you registered here, but not on the site? we'll link the accounts eventually, but for now, you need to register on the site.
If you did try to register on the site, you need to check your email inbox (whichever email you signed up with) and follow the activation link you'll see in there. That's where you then choose a password, and your account is activated. ap, i had some people test forgot password and it worsk fine, so i'm guessing you are in the same boat - have you signed up on the site yet? |

ok, thanks. after looking at the email i figured out what the problem is. The hyperlink in the email is not completely highlighted so when it's clicked on, its not a complete URL so it just directs it back to the site's homepage. thanks for the quick reply after spending so many hours putting the site together.

i'm going to close this as fixed (for the case sensitive naming issue).
if you are reading this and are having the same problems, please ensure: 1. that you are actually registered on the main site - forum/site accounts are separate 2. if you've registered and haven't activated, you need to check your email for the activation link i'll open a new bug to put the hash url on a new line, so the link is fully highlighted. |
