[BUG][solved] anime-planet Signature wont show

when i try to put my anime planet signature on my forum signature it wont show, i do exactly what it says, i copy and paste the bb code but when i save changes it only shows anime planet anime-manga-reviews or something like that, its what is at the very bottom of the signature but wont show the part where it shows muw much of my life i have spent on anime
(this site is awesome cause it keaps track of it for me, no more using a calculator for me lol)

If this is you: paulmax37 | Anime-Planet then the problem is that you haven't actually created your sig yet. The one shown on your profile right now is just a sample one.
To make a sig, go to your profile page & click the "signature" tab at the upper right. Then click the add/update button, set your options (or just leave them as default), and click the create button.

Once you're done with that your sig pic will be located at http://www.anime-planet.com/images/users/signatures/paulmax37.jpg
Then just wrap bbcode img tags around it and there ya go:
[img]http://www.anime-planet.com/images/users/signatures/paulmax37.jpg[/img]

wow... do i feel stupid. thanks a lot for the help, i kinda assumed it would automaticly to that, first time dealing with signatures as you can see.

Yeah, it's a bit odd that the sigs don't generate automatically the first time (especially since there's no way to un-create a sig. Once you've set up your sig, you'll always have it. You can change it around any time you please, but you can't turn it off again.)
I guess maybe it's to prevent the people who sign up and then quickly wander off from clogging up the servers or something. *shrug*

exactly - many, many people sign up and dont care about signatures, and each one would be around 40k+. that's a lot of wasted space and bandwidth.
