[ANSWERED][QUESTION] Character Submission Forum Usage?

So I've sort of inferred that the main character submission forum is primarily for use by moderators only but I haven't found documentation to that effect in any of the related threads. Can someone just do a simple confirm or deny to set my mind at ease? It would be greatly appreciated.

If you fill that out, it will create a thread in that board. Anybody can post there, but a mod will approve or deny the character a person submits. Use that form if you want to submit a character that is missing, and just check that section to check up on the status of your submission.

Of course. If you weren't allowed to post to a thread, you wouldn't have access to do so.

What Garyuu said is correct.

Not only are you allowed to respond, we WANT people to help us by replying to submissions. If anyone can help us confirm or deny any character information, please, do post in the auto-submitted character thread. While we do have 16 moderators, believe it or not, this isn’t enough to tackle every user submission because it's impossible for us all to have seen every anime or have read every manga; and even if we have seen/read, sometimes we do not remember every detail pertaining to that specific character. As you can see by the sheer number of threads in the Help-Needed Character subforums, there are many characters just sitting there not a single one of us can take care of, and it disheartens us because we really want to add the characters users submit so everybody can see, hate, like, etc them.

Thanks for asking, and we would be glad to see you, in addition to anybody else, over there supporting us in the character forum!

I'll do what I can. That was the intent, I just wanted to confirm it was cool by the rules first (or, well, second kind of but hey what can you do, I is nub). :3

It applies to everything on both the site & the forum. If you're not allowed to do something, then you're simply not able to. Conversely, if the site allows you to do something, then you're allowed to do it. Simply relying on people to follow the rules of their own accord is a fool's game. ;)
