A while back I got the 5 months badge, and while updating my list today I noticed my total was down to 4 months 4 weeks 1 day 17 hours 38 minutes. After pausing to go "huh?" I saw that my Fairy Tail count was down from 140 to "eps" so I put it back. "You've earned a badge" and my total is 5 months 1 day 15 hours and 9 minutes. Huh? That math is off. After reducing my episode count and checking my total time to establish that one episode is 24 minutes, I incrementally decreased them until I lost the badge again. That happened at 42 episodes, 4m4w2d10h26m. At 43 episodes the badge is back At first I thought that maybe episode 43 was somehow marked as being 4 days 14ish hours long giving me 5M 21m total. But if I leave Fairy Tail at 42 episodes watched, 4d14h short of 5 months, and add an episode of any other show presto, 5 months!

Adding 4days+ to that would make it 5 weeks, no month is 5 weeks long.

I know the reason for your confusion though. We tend to think of a month as being an even 4 weeks, even though it isn't. Nonetheless, we assume that scripts which count such things will treat it as 1 month = 4 weeks. The scripts here used to do that, but the system was enhanced a couple years or so ago, making it more accurate. The database currently counts 1 month about 4 weeks + 2.5 days.
