Cool The Sports Club

As the title says this is the sports club here you can talk about the sports you do/ did, want to do or sport shows/ Animes you have seen. I'll start:

When I was small I did judo for a few months and started to play football at the age of 7. After 6 years I stoped playing football and started with the self-defense sport kick boxing. Because my trainers thought I was talented they asked me to start doing matches. This never actually happened though because I wasn't aggressive enough. Now 4 years latter still kick boxing and I try to go running at least 3 times a week. Because I need to get fit for the army. Thats right I'm going to join the army in 2 years when I'm done with school.

So thats my sports carrier for ya.

Ha ha thanks and best of luck. Ow and if you want to start training ahead I recommend you doing push-ups and sit-ups at home. Because allot of gyms use these methods as a base of there training. And most new people wil have problems with them.

wow cool... so:

Played basketball for 3 years and then got tired of it, then i started to train in mui thai (or kickbox) for 1 year, about that time i fell in love with nun chucks (which i use for freestyling until this day), but had to quit becouse i was drafted into the army for 3 years where i learned and still training in Krav Magaa. I'm joging of course for about an hour or do a 10 k"m run and working out in the gym whenever i can.

Btw i didnt know that the netherlands even had an army... how is it there?

Well at the moment it's not going good with the dutch army. Because they are firing allot of soldiers, selling of our tanks and closing military bases. But i got a job guarantee so I'm safe :P.
And Krav Magaa is so awesome but in Holland you need to be 18 to participate in that sport or you can do courses if you really want to learn it.

Yes but you need to do some physical and mental tests first. If you pas you'll have to do a special training for six months an and after that you will start out as a soldier.
