I noticed we didn't have a club for bibliophiles, so here it is. For all those bookworms out there show us which books you like to digest. Maybe you have a favourite author or you are searching to further your literary knowledge. Lets write ourselves in as characters of this story.
Note: Valid forms of literacy do not include the works of Stephenie Meyer. (Suggestions for changing the title of the club are welcome and open). |

I think I would say it was Digital Fortress. I enjoyed all of the NSA "going ons" and whatnot

I've got myself into alot of philosophy books, though it takes me twice aslong to read them because I'm constantly re-reading paragraphs to make sense of them :P Aside from that I too like fantasy and sci-fi. My mates called me nerdy for reading the Halo and Mass Effect novels, but they're actually quite good. |

Favorite books:
Jurassic Park Jurassic Park the Lost World Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror The Trench Meg: Primal Waters(least favorite in this list too much reality TV in it >_<) Meg: Hell's Aquarium The Loch Antarktos Rising White Shark Halo Novels Footprints of Thunder Thunder of Time Kronos I love books where humans are mixing it up with prehistoric creatures. Really not too many of decent quality out there. I suppose it is not a classy taste but it is what I enjoy. Last edited by KnoxSe7eN; 08-13-2010 at 01:59 PM. |

Dan Brown is trash. Last writer to get me properly hooked was Orson Scott Card with Ender's Saga. Very well crafted series. |

I don't think I've read any "classics" except for Tom Sawyer. Personally my favorite author is Piers Anthony, but that's because I love ridiculous puns and such.
