I just wanted to clarify: I wouldn't change the rules either but R and mmag got their point too.
my own experience: I've felt kinda upset when NicoNico claimed Beatrice and Battler. Sure, I got over that in a very short time but I can imagine there are people who are way more serious about their claimed characters (and just in case someone haven't noticed, I'm crazy about Beato).

I couldn't tell Infinity, it's only your avy, sig, claim.

I was just saying that I don't mind it too much, at the same time, I don't mind if they get rid of the couples claim. Yea some people get upset over that claim, I understand that, that's why I gave the opinion to just get rid of couple claims, even Hab, when I talked to him on skype, thought that couples claim was a bad idea but kept it anyway.

If users, active users, are showing dislike for the couple claims might as well just get rid of it if it's going to cause problems, but it's also unfair for those who already claimed a couple to lose it because of a new rule change, make those an exception and just stop allowing couple claims, that seems like the most logical solution that should make everyone happy.

My main concern about getting rid of couple claims is that there may be people who say that it's unfair for some users to have them.

I really can't think of a solution that would work for everyone atm.

Not everything is 100% fix but at least this will make those that have couple claims and those who don't want them happy. Those who want couple claims will just have to live with the fact that they were removed, anyway they've never been popular so it would be a small minority who do complain about that.

i have never seen a daughter claim but i do know that kud has at least 2 people who previously wanted her ...this brings up all sorts of conflicting claims ...mother, father, son, or daughter ...

Pretty sure mother/daughter/father/son/brother/sister/best friend/idol/etc all work the same as character claims, just with special tags. I think they should just list any claims other than waifu/marriage as character claims to avoid an unnecessary amount of tags, people should be smart enough to search by name using the thread search option and ctrl+f.
