With gas prices going up I might have to give up my love for performance cars.... Or at the very least not use one for a daily driver. I might just say f-it and and mainly use a motorcycle for my performance needs. That would give me a chance to make an itasha bike anyhow.

Hey, I drove a little over 200 miles to get mine. It's worth it to extend your search a bit. And hey, You're further inland, so you have a larger search area than I do.
That is one downside to living on the coast. Kind of a bitch to have your search radius limited like that. I will say this, if you do look for one again, and want a LSD, don't get an '89-'93. Even if the car came equipped with one from the factory, it's probably worn out. The '89-'93 cars had a viscous type diff, and chances are after all these years, it's toast. Just another open diff. The '94 and up cars got a Torsen diff if ordered with a LSD. Quickest way to find out if a Miata has an LSD, is to call Mazda of America and ask nicely. 1-800-222-5500 Just give them the VIN and they should be able to tell you everything about the car's build. But for the '94-'97 cars, from everything I've read about them is that if it has leather, it has the LSD. But don't hold me to that. Power windows and a power antenna are also clues that says the car might have an LSD. A lot of people say you don't need an LSD in a Miata. Maybe that's true, but fuck it, I want my damn LSD. Oh, and you were probably looking at an M Edition, Knox. Those cars are fucking bitchin'. |

Afraid not...... well I didn't get the car so hell if I care haha
It was just a standard Miata but it was Laguna Blue. I have heard that is a fairly rare color. |

Ah, yeah, that is kind of rare. I would have loved a blue Miata. But while I liked the Montego Blue, I just didn't dig it enough. I wouldn't have minded having Mariner Blue (Smurf blue) car, but that was only on the 1.6 cars. And I couldn't find a single fucking Laguna Blue car near me. And if I would have, chance are my strict requirement would have kept me from getting it.
I was more concerned with option than the color. Except I didn't want a fucking green car. I rarely like green on cars. And it's got to be something amazing too. Like that neon looking green on the Murcielago. I'd shoot a baby for one of those cars. |
