Ok, voting is closed, Divergence Eve (25 eps), is our very first title that we need to finish watching by Monday June 30th. On that same day discussions are open and everyone can post their thoughts on this thread!

Please keep in mind everyone is going to have their own opinions and that sometimes we might not agree with one another's. Friendly debates are great, flames and arguments are not.

Thanks to everyone that's participating, I truly cannot wait for next Monday to see our first discussion unfurl.

may i make a selfish request that after completing each series, that you folks make some recommendations if you can think of any good ones? of course no recs is better than stretch recs, but hey, i might as well ask :D

It'll be interesting to see the reception for this show. One of the ones that require more than the usual defending on my list.

To clear up any confusion we are watching both season 1 and season 2 of this show. It's a total of 25 episodes, just wanted everyone to be aware.

That's a pretty good idea, I'll add it to the original post of the club. Any possible recs should be listed with everyone's overall thoughts on a show during discussions.

This is going to be a fascinating discussion I think. And just going by sothis's DVD review of Divergence Eve, quite an interesting debate. lol

I must keep abreast of this series discussion... :-)

Robust in shape and form, massive in scope, this series titillates my fancies like no other.

indeed otaku - i'd say just be sure to not make people think they need to make the recs people come up with. if 6 of you are watching a series and make the same recs, even if the recs arent great, that will potentially rise to the top of the rec list :p that would be bad if they arent solid! ^_^

ya, I put it up as a tentative, if you can think of a rec then share with us and we can discuss the overall validity of it. which btw you're more than welcome to join in for. if we could get your input on recs we could possibly pose then it might help us understand more what you're are looking for.
