[Note: The above episode was recorded on the 22nd of January, 2013].

Hey there folks, we've started up a podcast that consists of Anime-Planet's mods. The first episode is in the link above and is sort of a test run, and gives a general idea of what may come in future episodes. Future episodes will have a format, an opening song, as well as a rotation of appearances by A-P's many mods.

The purpose of this club is to discuss the podcasts, give advice and critiques, as well as suggesting ideas for future podcasts.

awesome, i love podcasts, but don't know of any decent anime ones, i'll give this a listen.

I'm listening right now. I listen to podcasts very rarely, but I think this could be good. I'm only 15 minutes in, but it seems you all speak well, and have plenty to say. When I tried listening to some new podcasts in the past, they were kind of awkward. There would be a lot of pauses, and "ums". Here, you so far have only been talking about a few shows, but since you are all clear, and know what you are talking about, it's interesting to listen to.

I'll be honest. I went through and edited out a lot of the long pauses and umms.

It's actually pretty good, like Garyuu said a lot of other podcasts don't really flow well but yours was done well.

Also what's wrong with Japan liking a show about powerclad lolis with gratuitous ass shots. It's just a refined taste.

I'm pretty sure everyone is a lolicon in Japan anyway.

I liked it. I sat through the whole think and found it sufficiently entertaining to keep going on from any point.

I'm normally not a person that can sit through these things easily but the length of the pod cast didn't bother me this time. I also like that you focus on current series a lot and also have a so called -token girl. -
