I dunno, there are about 12 pages of terms with the abbreviation DP in acronymfinder.com's database, so what was actually meant in the original post is somewhat open to interpretation without context...

I have always thought that stripping comments from their context to make them appear worse than they actually are is what this forum is about. But yes, Ketsuron has it right: the quotation is about how Sothis almost made a statement that might have been misinterpreted to refer to the fansubbing group ;)
