In anime Ga-Rei: Zero there are identical twin brothers who are both called Nabuu. Wondered what it was best to submit for this occurance? I noticed with the two Mokana Modoki of Holic/Tsubasa they get their own entries but for them it's a bit easier as they have their relevent main series and are differing colours.

Thought there is a few different options and thought I would ask which is best.

1. Submit as Nabuu brothers (2 chars in 1 screenshot gonna be a bit of a squeeze) MAL seems to handle it this way.
2. Nabuu, Nabuu as two seperate entries, one with nabuu and one as nabuu-ga-rei-zero as url slug?
3. Just a single Nabuu entry and ignore the other brother?

Option 2 was used in the anime Ben-to for Kyou SAWAGI so you could go with that option. Just make it clear that you are making 2 separate submission so a mod doesn't accidentally merge them.

I worked on Ben-To. And agree with Lester, but the thing that whoever mods it needs to pay attention to is to make sure that each entry has the correct picture and VA. That corresponds to the intended twin.

Ok thanks, once im done with the series i'll make sure to add that to the comment after I submit them. I believe they are voiced by the same VA but i'll double check that. Visually they look identical so I think the only scene where I can tell them apart will be early on when they are introduced as one is supposidly the "older" one lol, i'll try grab a shot of that unless they are clearly identified later.

I have 2 questions...

1st. If a character wears contacts about 90% of the time in an anime that makes their eyes two different colors but their eyes themselves are actually the same color when they are not wearing the the contacts...Should they not get the heterochromia tag sense geneticly their eyes are actually not 2 different colors?

2. What if a character in an anime is actually a girl but everyone in the anime thinks they are a boy and in the anime it is never revealed that they are a girl to anyone not even teh viewer, but in a light novel it is revealed that the character is actually a girl. Then would that character be considered a female in the sex section?

I'm assuming your questions are aimed towards Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai | Anime-Planet. Regardless, here are your answers:

1. They (in this case Kobato HASEGAWA | Characters | Anime-Planet who cosplays as a girl with heterochromia) WOULD get the heterochromia tag because their eyes having the appearance of two different colors is part of their default character design, even if genetically-speaking the eyes are the same color.

2. If the character (in this case Yukimura KUSUNOKI | Characters | Anime-Planet) is never revealed to be a certain gender but IS in the manga or light novel, we would not mark the sex for that character because of the differences across the media. The same applies if a character is thought to be a guy/girl in something and is the other gender in another.

What if the character has an alias that is physical different from them? Like, they transform or turn into someone completely different, but that different 'someone' is a different character in their own right?

Example: In 1/2 Prince , Feng Xiao Lan is a girl, but she begins playing this game Second Life, and she creates her own character. Due to some weird chance of fortune, she has the ability to switch her character's gender and plays the game as a male elf named "Prince" .. Would I put "Prince" as Feng Xiao Lan's 'alias' even though her identity online is supposed to be kept secret, or should I make two completely different character profiles for her two distinct "personalities"?

Things like that work on a case-by-case basis. I'm thinking in this case, making a second character is fine.

Trust me. We've had a lot of discussion on split personalities, alternate aliases, and such.

Is there a list anywhere of 'characters that need pics' or anything along these lines? I feel like doing some capping.
