just thought of a few randomly

seasonal badges for watching a certain number of shows in any given season
(don't include some of those titles that are added but never become avaliable to watch)

year badges for watching a certain number of shows in a year. maybe limit that to shows that started and ended in that year so no crossover year anime (ie started in 2010 but went into 2011 and ended don't count but if it was a winter 2010 anime and ended in fall 2010 totally counts as long as 2010 is the only year!)

Inuyasha Isn't like any other anime(and that badge would require watching a 6 season series, 4x movies, and then a 26 episode ending/continuation series, so that's 6 different anime technically), and at this point It's safe to say Inuyasha has stood the test of time, The Final Act proves that to be the undebateable case. Also the char, story, and definitely music are downright gonna transcend time its self(The best mood/theme music ever made are in Inuyasha, and there's a lot of them, nevermind the songs from Do as infinity, which are world famous "due" to Inuyasha).

Hell Fukai Mori(Deep Forest) is the most well known/loved Japanese song world wide, and even in Japan it was a groundbreaking hit(it remained #1 on the charts for 6 whopping weeks, no song in Japan remains # 1 for that long, the music industry is way too competetive over there. Also the opening for the final Act was high on the charts for an extended amount of time as well, not as high, but still an amazing feet in its self), which is more proof that Inuyasha is easily a epic anime that has stood the test of time, there's so much solid unbiased proof that can't be denied, It's not just some personal opinions, It's also fact

The Final Act is the world's first/only "official" flawless ending to anything ever created, endings like this don't exist(these are the type of things created by die hard fans, after a anime was given a crappy ending, and oddly enough they generally do take 5 years to perfect), it was a super long wait, but I can honestly say it was worth every bit of the long delay, and uncertanty that a ending would ever be made to beginwith(the franchise is clearly blessed with a writer who is also its biggest fan, talk about a unheard of concept).

Well anyway yea, Inuyasha shouldn't be tossed into a pile with every other mainstream anime, as It's very clear Inuyasha has proven its self to be epic + has stood the test of time.

hi everyone. im not new to the site but trying to be more productive and involved here in general.

would be nice to add some sort of "count" or "statistic" for the studio badges. for example: you must watch 10 noitamina for the noitamina badge. you watch 4 and "4/10" is displayed somewhere like on your profile or maybe on the webpage of the badge itself. like here

this idea isn't producing another badge but it is improving upon the existing studio badges and maybe some others that have some sort of requirements.

P.S. yes i'm also in favor of a noitamina badge.

these are great ideas for users who have been established here already. what about a new user who will add all the anime he has seen before joining? the new user would be getting a badge for watching anime in [X] season of [X] year when in reality they were seen well before joining. also, a late anime entry to the website being added and listed as "watched" would also have the same effect.

There should be a badge for liking a certain type of character archetypes. For instance "Whats wrong with you?"Liked 10 yandere characters or "The silent type" Liked 10 stoic characters etc.

There should be one for all the classic archetypes
Tsundere
Dandere
Kuudere (Should be a badge for knowing the difference between the two!)
Loli
Kamidere
Neko and any other archetypes you guys can find.
