I would love to see a Franken Fran anime, though that is über-unlikely on account of excessive boobage and oodles of gore.
Ooku would be interesting (Sarai-ya Goyou works as an anime, why shouldn't this?) Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service Manhole Solanin

Old Boy Gacha Gacha Breaking the rules with these two, so don't count'em if you don't want to, but I'm voting for them anyway. Gunsmith Cats (I know there's been a short OVA adaption, but it didn't do the manga justice. Plenty of material to do a somewhat long TV series (especially if you include Burst).) Berserk (Too awesome to only have the Golden Age arc adapted. Considering the large fan base Berserk has these days, and just how damn good it is, it deserves a proper adaption starting from the beginning. It should take a few more years before an anime of Berserk could catch up to the manga if it gets another anime ever again, so maybe Miura can get his ass back focused on Berserk and finally finish it (if there's even an ending to it)) |

Amanchu Franken Fan Manhole Saitama Chainsaw Shoujo (into a short OVA, will be awesome) Honorable mentions: Deadman Wonderland Hitsuji no Uta (a proper one, but capturing the same mood and right pace is essential, so it's likely to flop)

Battle Angel Alita needs a REAL adaptation, not the crappy movie it got.
Medaka Box Because we need shounen with better cheesecake. The World God Only Knows This one screams Xebec Metro Survive Because Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 should have raised awareness for awesome disaster-survival works. |

20th Century Boys (same author as Monster, so it seems like a safe bet) Old Boy (haven't read it, but the live-action movie is good) Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (needs a full adaptation) 1 Litre of Tears (I'm cheating for this one... the manga and the live-action series were both based on a book, and what I actually want is an anime based on the live-action series, because the live-action series is one of the greatest things ever) Ok, so I cheated for a few of those... *feels ashamed* Last edited by mjf314; 05-09-2010 at 05:12 PM. |
