hm. havent seen a whole lot of anime that i'd consider addictive. a lot of the episodic shows i have had no trouble putting down for any period of time.

#1 Eureka seveN
#2 Twelve Kingdoms
#3 Banner/Crest of The Stars series'
#4 Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann / I watched this as it was aired, but in retrospect if I had waited for it to complete, i think I would have pulled several all-nighters marathoning the show. ^^
#? the first half (or so) of Death Note, if that counts.

Well the child in me wants to say, how can Ga Rei Zero be addictive?

but really it comes down to personal taste doesn't it?

Where I'm still trying to finish Ge Rei Zero and I started watching when it came out. While with One Piece I caught up to where it was airing which was at around 300 at the time in only about a month.

As for reason's it's funny, not intelliant funny by any means but gets me laughing, it also has some very werid and interesting characters along with some nicly animated fights

in no particular order:
Death Note (well the first half anyway)
Code Geass (still my latest kick, and one it was hard to tell the ending for, thus interesting enough to be addictive))
Chobits
Mnemosyne (short enough to watch in a day, and had I been able to get my hands on all episodes right away, I would have!)
