12/28/08 - 5 anime with the best holiday episodes
Seems appropriate; this week we'll vote for the anime with our favorite holiday episodes.
'Holiday' is pretty much referring to Christmas/New Years, as New Years seems equally if not more important in Japan than Christmas is, if the frequency of special anime episodes is any sort of barometer :P Of course, if it's just a "holiday special" OAV or something that's fine too. Might be tough for people to come up with a full list of five they liked, but we'll see how it goes. Ah My Goddess (there was at least 1) Love Hina Christmas special Ep8 Azumanga Daioh (everyone has newyears dreams about chio) can't think of another will get back when i do

Hachikuro's Christmas episodes kure-nai's Shichi-Go-San Winter Garden's Christmas Furuba's Christmas Special mention: Minami-ke's Christmas, Tokyo Godfathers (well, it's all Christmas) There's more, but that's all that comes to mind right now. The hard part is forgetting all the crappy holiday episodes like AYA, Love Hina, etc. |

Crap. This is just gonna be a race against the tiebreaker rule . . . well, at least Winter Garden should sneak in; can't imagine any of the other shows listed as being more obscure . . . kure-nai should get in just for being a non-Christmas/New Year's thing . . .
