Somehow this has not yet been done, so we'll do it now ^_^ This week we shall vote for 5 anime with the best soundtracks.
This is not really meant to include the opening and ending themes, it's more about the music the plays during the show. Pretty simple past that, though it's probably going to be a tough pick for a lot of people -.-' Happy Voting! **Voting Closed** The top 5: Cowboy Bebop Noir Kara no Kyoukai Last Exile Air Gear Thanks for voting! It's nice when Ceti does stuff where I already created a list for (I've got a top 20 from a bit back). ;p
Madlax Mai Hime Kiddy Grade Noir .hack// Yes there's a lot of Kajiura music here. And yes I do complain she is a one trick composer. But she does do one trick really well. |

Madlax
Shakugan no Shana Macross Frontier Last Exile Bakamatsu Kikanetsu Irohanihoheto Thought about doing the Kajiura x5 deal, but there are some other good composers out there too -.-' edit: rememberred Irohanihoheto... the music really made that show. Not that it's relevant since hardly anyone's seen it -.-' Last edited by Cetonis; 11-28-2008 at 06:17 PM. |

Kara no Kyoukai by Yuki Kajiura
Air Tv by I've Tsukihime by Toshiyuki O'mori Fate-Stay Night by Kenji Kawai (the anime wasn't very good, but this soundtrack is) SaiKano by Takeo Miratsu Next in line would be Ali Project's works for the .hack series. |

Noir (can a soundtrack turn a show from okay to great? yes)
Cowboy Bebop Welcome to the NHK! Madlax (can it do it a second time? Somehow!) Death Note Legend of the Galactic Heroes features largely solid openers and enders as well, as well as excellent use of source music - but as most of its music is pre-existing classical fare I really feel I couldn't include it. I didn't know Kaijura was involved in that. I'm almost tempted to see it now. Last edited by valondar; 11-25-2008 at 04:36 PM. |
