10/19/08 - 5 anime with the best rivalries
Here's an interesting one off the suggestion thread... this week we'll vote for 5 anime with the best rivalries.
No explanation needed, I think; though of course they do not necessarily have to be rivalries in battle - it could be in romance, in career, in school standings, anything. (though battle is always fine too) Which rivalries are the most memorable for you? Legend of the Galactic Heroes (Yang Wenli versus Reinhard von Lohengramm)
Death Note (Light Yagami versus L) The Piano Forest (Kai Ichinose versus Shuhei Amamiya) Akira (Shotaro Kaneda versus Tetsuo Shima) Shigurui (Fujiki Gennosuke versus Irako Seigen) My favourite of these being the first one and a likely winner being the second. |
