9/28/08 - 5 anime with the best animals/pets - Anime-Planet forum

I don't really know how well this will turn out, it just kinda came to mind -.-' This week, we'll vote for 5 anime with the best animals/pets.

Not much explanation needed, I think... animal-people don't count, and don't feel reluctant to vote for something with only one or two animals; this is certainly more about quality than quantity. (though higher quantity might increase the odds of having some good quality ones)

(I think I'm just going to default Aria votes to the second season, since it has the most episodes and all three seasons are effectively the same show anyway...)

well if so
Cardcaptor Sakura - Cerberus/kero
Hayate no Gotoku! - Tama (though does he count as a pet)
Lucky Star - Kagami's goldfish
Zero no Tsukaima - Tabitha's Wind drake Sylphid (if they count as pets as well)
Gintama

and i just want to mention Gantz for the perverted dog who got what no other guy there got

edit: oh my goodness i forgot Ginatama!
Saduharu and Elizabeth are the best

If it can develop its character through spoken language, that's kind of like cheating compared to the others... well, let's allow it anyway since this might be a narrow category? I never really counted how many series with relevant animals/pets are out there -.-'
