4/27/08 - Top 5 anime you haven't seen
Now here's an odd one - compliments of elric, this week we'll vote for the top 5 anime you have yet to see.
Most if not all of us have a pretty hefty list of series we want to watch but haven't gotten around to yet. Which ones do you expect the most out of, or feel like you'll really enjoy? This may turn into a <one vote for a hundred different series> category, but I suspect there'll be a few shows that bubble to the top. Should be fun... Kimi ga Nozomu Eien Koi Kaze Black Lagoon Gunslinger Girl Nana Honourable mentions: Kanon (excluded because I've seen the '06 remake), Requiem from the Darkness, Iriya, Le Chevalier D'Eon. I could probably go on for quite a while, so I'll stop :p |

So this means series that we are anticipating to be part of our favourite anime lists? Do we include series that are currently airing, or those that we've seen 1 episode and think is going to be great, and does read the manga but want to watch the anime count'? Ill stick to the finished airing, but havent seen and not read manga yet then: Wolf Rain - its about wolves, so im assuming it has to be awesome Mushishi - i've read so many reviews saying its good Akira - i just havent watched it, and the amount one's read about it... Ghost in the Shell - and hey hollywood has picked up the licence for a live-action... Byousoku 5 Centimeter -

Air TV Haibane Renmei Eureka Seven Koi Kaze Honourable mentions to Twelve Kingdoms, Planetes, Speed Grapher, Sayonara Zetsbou Sensei and Gankutsuou. Byousoku 5cm would be there... but it's a movie, hence won't be on my list even if it totally blows me away :p Quote:

Haibane Renmei Last Exile Requiem From the Darkness FLCL Mushishi Others could include Higurashi, Narutaru, Ergo Proxy, Infinite Ryvius, Twelve Kingdoms, Texhnolyze, Welcome to the NHK!, Kemonozume, umm... everything by Miyazaki... 1. Byoukuso 5cm - Everyone was ready to kill me when I didn't buy this last week XD 2. PLANETeS - Fucking Taniguchi Goro. 3. Afro Sumrai - Black samurai? You fucking KNOW I'm there. And it's got fucking Sam Jackson. Why the hell don't I own this yet?! 4. Gunbuster - the original GAINAX epic and the original Hideaki Anno joint. I am not a true anime fan having not seen this. 5. GIANT ROBO - God I need to buy this now...
