- Elfen Lied - first time i saw those psychic arms i lolled.. but they are damn awesome
- Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro Chan - Cause Excalibolg is just the coolest damn weapon, and killing a blue whale in one?
- Hayate no Gotoku - Cause every butler needs an ultimate attack...

More serious animes abilities/attacks
- Shakugan no Shana - mainly as they are animated so beautifully
- Basilisk - As damn some of them are cool
- FMA - Alchemy stuff isnt new, but fma made it pretty awesome

Honourable;
Tenjou Tenge
Elemental Gelade
Noir
Saikano - who wouldnt want a girlfriend that can take down armies ;p
Baccano - immortality and animated oh so nicely

Though i guess if i have to choose 5: 1. Dokuro-chan, 2. Basilisk, 3. Shana 4. FMA 5. Elfen Lied

Kiddy Grade - Lumieres ability
Captain Tsubasa - Godfather of all gravity defying sports animes,
Turn-A Gundam - TurnA and TurnX ultimate attack
Gurren Lagaan - spiral power = overpowered O_o

Honorable Mentions
Doraemon - If his pouch can be considered an ability..its got like everything!
Heroic Age - Nodos powers
Sousei no Aquarion - mugen punch lolol.. the other moves' names are pretty ridiculous

Generally speaking I don't like the use of chakra/chi/ki or magic for power/special/abilities, as it is never balanced/involves cheating/poorly portrayed/miss used/inconsistent/always defeated by something more or less silly/cool gun vampire turns into blob to fight another blob ruining an otherwise perfectly good gun vampire show. __________________ You are dead.
