It may take a little time for sothis to put a form together to get these up on the main site, but for now I've been given the go ahead to at least get votes up and running for fun ^_^
"Best 5 fight scenes" shows up a lot on the suggestion thread, but that's a bit too specific so we'll do the "5 anime with the best battles overall" instead. And of course, always put your votes at the top of your post, and put "-No Vote-" if you just want to chat. Happy voting ^_^ **************************************** Voting closed. The winners: 1. Claymore 2. Cowboy Bebop 3. Samurai Champloo 4. Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen 5. Rurouni Kenshin Thanks to all who participated ^_^ Last edited by Cetonis; 01-13-2008 at 10:00 PM. just as a quick note, do you think this will be intuitive enough, knowing that details like which characters won't be visible on the site/archive? (it will be just the title)

Well, I didn't think you intended to have the form done so quickly ^_^ Either way, I think knowing that <anime> has a really good fight scene is worth something even if the specific scene isn't mentioned. (though in some cases it may indeed be intuitive) Generally if a series has one well-liked battle it means the others recieved some effort and quality as well... |

true, the form won't go up... but any old winners will go onto the archive page. :) i'd say for future list of hte weeks try to make it much more obvious (for example, "best bishounen" wouldnt work because theres no way of saying who won out of the series) - as i still think best fight (singular) is too specific. "best fight scenes" i think would be more appropriate, for the fights in general (in which case i'd vote for kazemakase ran :p) |

Rurouni Kenshin Capeta Hunter X Hunter Full Metal Panic The Second Raid Combining animation, coolness and tactically these are the ones that stand out for me personally. Though predictability and anime convincing me in genres i'm not a fan off (mecha) also play a part. |
