HLJ is probably best known for having one of the best selections of imported Gundam model kits. But the catch is you really are "importing" them since you're buying them from Japan. The prices are about what you would pay at a convention, but then there's the shipping, which I didn't find to be overpriced for an import. I've ordered maybe 10 Gundam kits or so from them, and all of them arrived much earlier than I expected, or about when I expected them to. Only problem is they don't have the best packing, but it's not like you're buying a DVD and if the case gets broken or something your product is ruined. Not that their packaging is BAD, just that some of the kits I've bought have come with a few dings on the box. No biggie though. If you want to buy legit Gundam kits from Japan and can't find any at local hobby stores, HLJ is the place to go.

Note that HLJ stocks other sci-fi/warfare items as well, I know they have some battleship models and cars and bikes as well. They also have an "apparel" and "fun goods" section which I've never bothered to check, but I'd assume those have T-Shirts, trading cards, and things of the like that most anime-based E-Stores have.

Actually, HLJ's base price for all of their items is the Japanese price, then there's the shipping and stuff, which I find places the item at about convention price. That's if you get the fastest delivery speed though. For example the 1/100 Chaos Gundam, which is about 20 American dollars. The fastest shipping (EMS) is about 18 US dollars, bringing it to a total of about 40 US dollars. I got the 1/100 Chaos Gundam at Sakuracon 2005 for $40.
