Otaku.co.uk is a UK importer with an office in Japan - items ordered from the .co.uk address are already imported and have UK duty payed - so more expensive but no customs worries. The store offers most of the range of import items of the .com branch, R2(Japanese) DVDs, music cds, manga and other merchandise. In addition they have a large number of R1 DVDs, translated manga, and some R2(UK) DVDs, taking the number of items to ober 6500.
The site layout is clear, but with no advanced search, some popular search strings may return several pages of results. The message board is some times useful as the owners do post to it, and the wide variety of stock means they are bound to have things you are interested in, though perhaps not a specific item. Useful Info Payment Options: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Switch/Maestro, Paypal (on most items). Shipping Charges: Within the UK, £2 pounds per item, maximum £6. Free postage for DVDs, Music CDs and Game Music CDs. Outsite the UK, contact for details. Other: Sometimes run online auctions, the .co.uk site offers similar stock with UK VAT payed, more expensive but no customs worries |
