Otaku.com is the Japan office of a UK importer - all items ordered from the .com address are shipped worldwide straight from Japan. If you are unlucky, customs in your country may charge you extra for imports over a ceratin value, so be aware of this risk. The store offers a wide range of R2(Japanese) DVDs, music cds, manga and other merchandise, at time of writing they have 2600 items listed.
The site is pretty clear, and the lack an advanced search isn't too bad as there is less stock than some other stores. The message board can actually be helpful as well, as the owners do respond to questions - another plus point of being a smaller business. They may not have a specific item you want, but there is good information on everything they do. Useful Info Payment Options: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Switch/Maestro, Paypal (on most items). First time credit card orders have a $50 minimum Shipping Charges: Express Insured Shipping, one item $10, then $5 per additional item. Orders over $200 the shipping is free. Existing customers have the options of regular airmail for cheaper Other: Sometimes run online auctions, the .co.uk site offers similar stock with UK VAT payed, more expensive but no customs worries |
