The best part about BestBuy.com is that you can pick up things locally, at any Best Buy store. This way, if you don't want to go to a local store to see if something is in stock, you can buy it online and then just go pick it up somewhere. Admittedly, the prices are beatable easily by just going to dvdpricesearch.com, but for convenience, it's fairly handy. I don't have any experience actually ordering from these guys, so I can't give any opinions there.

BestBuy's a decent site.
For my most recent order, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya SE v.2, the box came in good condition, and arrived before the street date. I have no complaints about their service. However, they are incredibly expensive. All their prices are at MSRP, and they charge you for shipping as well. If you're paying out of the pocket, they are not a good option. If you have a gift card though, go for it. In general, use them if you have lots of money and nothing better to do, otherwise skip them. There are better alternatives. |

Agreed with Dark_Sage... It's so ridiculously expensive there. If you ever want cheap anime, just browse ebay for commercial sellers...

My review of Best Buy would be to give it a moderate rating. I've found some great deals there (the entire Giant Robo series for 14.99!) as well as my local store having the courtesy (or ignorance) to release anime ahead of the street date.
On the downside, their prices on some of the newer anime is extremely high (Black Lagoon sold for 23.99!) but it still beats going to Suncoast... |

I found some old stuff on there Kiask at the store in my area. I picked up (Kalido Star and another title.) for pretty cheap so it was a good buy. You have to do some searching on there site to find the buys.

I've purchased most of my anime sets from best buy. They're extremely reliable, especially since in New York (its kinda like the whole Texas concept) everythings bigger. Especially our stores. (Hah i made a joke...)
Excel Saga (Entire set)- $30 Outlaw Star (Special Edition boxed set) - $20 Gundam Wing (Had to special order this, they technically don't carry it for some reason.) - $60 FLCL (All three DVD's) - $45 (Not that cheap but its better than suncoast) Eureka Seven (Multiple box set things, T-Shirt, ANime DVD, Manga...etc add-on's.) - $15 Afro Samurai (Sweetttt) - $15 (when it first came out...go figure) That's all I remember...my anime collection is far to huge to name or even remember all so... *Shrugs* Also their CD's are supremely cheap, but i'll save that for another thread. |

Besides! I love Best Buy. They are so much better than Suncoast. I never bought DVD's because they would charge insane amounts for them. With Best Buy, well, the most a DVD will go for is $25.99, and I agree that it's still too much but the Suncoast in my area used to go for about $29.99 to $39.99 a pop. I bought the Scrapped Princess series box set for $29.99, Witch Hunter Robin box set for $29.99, and Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum Collection for about $50. <3 |
