I really can't say enough bad things about DVD Soon, and would recommend everyone avoid them.

Was my problem with slow shipping? Bad selection? Nope, I didn't even get that far... my comments are based on their extremely poor policies and customer service.

See, like some other sites out there, DVD Soon doesn't tell you if your item is out of stock. In fact, they won't even notify you for a good month (this happened to me). Want to cancel? Guess what? You can only get store credit. Or, if you want your money back (like you legally should be able to), you have to fill out a form and wait THIRTY DAYS for your credit card to be credited back the money you are owed. But guess what else? They only credit you the amount of money back that is based on the CURRENT EXCHANGE RATE (they are based in Canada), not what you originally paid! That's right! If you buy something, wait a month and finally find out it's out of stock so you want to go somewhere else, not only do you not get your money back right away, but you get it back at a potentially lower rate than before.

I ask you, who in the HELL would want to do business with people that employ these practices? The best thing you can do if you are stuck in this situation, is to call your CC company and dispute the charges, because seriously, waiting 30 days is just bullshit.

Anyways, so yeah... that's my review. Stay away from these guys.
