They have excellent customer service with quick response to my questions and stuff.
As for ordering stuff. I ordered 3 items from them. Hoshi no Koe, Nadesico:Prince of Darkness, & Geneshaft Vol 4. Speedy Delivery considering they are located in Flordia, USA. I think it took about 3 or so days. Their prices are quite low, dirt cheap compared to other sites and its the real deal. Legit DVDs and stuff. Shipping is 99 cents each DVD and sales tax only if you live in Florida (Shipping according to within the United States, sorry international people:( )

Their collection...
Aside from a couple of older series (let's say, about 5 years or older), their collection is pretty much complete. They often have their hands on the newest releases earlier than the official street date. There is also a alternative site of the same shop which sells CD's, shamefully there are only a few anime OST's or OP&ED singles in their current collection. Their site... The site is easy to use, yet there is no way to modify orders, other than sending a mail to the customer support. Their customer support... They are performing a good job here. Orders are regulary changed without a fuzz within 3 days. Damaged wares will be replaced after sending the damaged DVD/CD to them and the shipping will be credited back to your account. Their shipping and handling... No problems here. If the border guard doesn't get their hands on it, it arrives overseas (From Florida to the East of the Netherlands) in less than a week. As for the odds on getting "caught" by theborder guard... I think they've only interceped one out of twenty orders. The packages are often packed in boxes for multiple DVD's and in bubblewrap covered envelopes for single DVD's. There is papers stuffed in the boxes to protect them from harm. Not the safest way, though out of the 20 orders, I've only had some really minor damage to the boxes of like 2 DVD's and I've only received one scratches DVD, which was caused due to poor production of the box. Their prices... Regulary a lot cheaper than most other shops. This shop is possibly a shop where you, as a poor student, will be able to afford anime all of the sudden! Nearly all products have at least a 20% discount on them at all times. My opinion... Currenlty my number one shop due to the fast overseas shipping and the cheap prices. The only real flaw about this shop is that at times it's too cheap.. I got an utter space issue in my room right now.. and the packages just keep on coming in! |

They also have a lot of old obscure movies for dirt cheap prices. I got some really obscure Alfred Hitchcock movies I was looking for for about $2 per disc. They also sometimes have really huge markdowns... I bought all four volumes of Kazemakaze Tsukikage Ran for $4.50 per disc, when most other online stores including DDD had them for $20+.

I order from these guys all of the time! Its the cheapest place on the web I think. My Brother also does business from them too.
I agree with all of you who said stuff about DVD Pacific. A simple interface and search system, a good customer service (the last time I had to deal with them about a dvd they were understanding about dealing with the problem) and lastly good cheap prices. Sure I go to other places sometimes for sales but I always come back to them for there prices on stuff. Cheaper is the way to go for me. |

DVDPacific is a nice site if you value cost over quality of service.
For my most recent order from them, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya SE v.3, I was expecting them to ship out the DVD at a reasonable time. Unfortunately, while my friends got the DVD about a week before street date, I received mine a week after the street date. Additionally, part of the box it came in was dented. For their good points, I imagine if a series has already been released, they'd be the place to go to. Their prices are extremely cheap, and they don't require a special membership to get that way. Overall, I'd recommend them if you don't care about what time you get the item. |

My recent purchases were a few items, for myself and my brother and they already have most of it in which means they are ready to ship. (Yah!)
