I actually made two orders just today...
One was a $49(Yu Yu Hakusho stuff)
The other was $182(4 special edition Naruto Box Sets) for my cousin that I currently live with. Sending Media Mail.
I'll post results soon to them.

A great place to get anime at a great price. Myself and my little brother shop there all of the time. Sure they might be slow on some stuff but they are a great place!

Got them in about a week, 7 days from the nearest business day. Shipping time was good. Unfortunately, two of the three box sets were dented. So, I gotta ship it back and exchange...another week or two for them... The third was okay... but this is for my cousin, and he gets the final say in if it's damaged or not.

Yeah it took my order about a four or five days to reach me when they got it in stock. Not bad on that at all.

Went and did an order for July, it ran me about 97 bucks to get all I wanted for me and my brother. If I went some place else I know I would have payed more.
Got Bleach vol 11, My-Otome vol 7 and Batman Gotham knight for a decent price. Oh and also xxxholic vol 4.
Still the only site for me, I have no complaints for them.

Try the following code for possible 20% discount. I believe the sale ends on 6/22/08 (this Sunday) but uncertain. If it works, then great.

Code: 20offsale

DVDPlanet.com

Secondly, I believe DVDplanet and Deepdiscount are own by the same company. I have heard that people ordering from both sites receive the same exact packaging addressed from the same place. Even so, prices differs on both sites. Sometimes prices are better on the "planet" and other times prices are better on "discount."

Deepdiscount.com has a 20% sale going originally ending on 6/22/08, but have been extended to 6/29/08.

Code: GAMER

If the above code doesn't work for the sale extension until 6/29/08 (for deepdiscount), use the following

Code: SUMMERSALE

deepdiscount.com

Ok, I've decided to order my first anime purchase from this site, as it seems to be the cheapest whilst still getting them in decent/good condition within a pretty quick time frame.

And so far I must say I'm rather pleased. I obviously haven't received my item yet, as it was a pre-order, so I can't comment there exactly, but as for the site layout, prices, etc:

Prices: From what I've seen of the prices on this site, it's prices are a good deal less than that of other sites I looked at, so for prices, this is probably the one to go for.

Site: The site layout is rather easy to use and doesn't really cause much of a hassle. They've got a clear to see link to change the currency format, and they've also got easy registration. However, the one issue I have is that when ordering for the first time, you have to re-input your credit card details and shipping address, when they could just as easily use the details that you give them whilst registering.. Sure it's nice to be able to edit them, but in the case that you don't want to, you've already done it once, yet you have to do it again.

I haven't had to worry about customer services and help just yet. However, one thing I would like to know from someone here, is that if your item is damaged upon arrival, is it a free shipping back and free re-shipping? Or do you have to pay for the shipping of the replacement?

I really don't know the answer to that one. I haven't had any my stuff I ordered damaged before but I do know if you want to find out you could send an e-mail to there orders department and ask them there. I always e-mail there sales info department about dates and stuff on certain shows so I know that someone will answer your question for you if ask. I hope this helps man. :)
