Things get damaged during shipping...blame who takes your product from Iowa to your location.

I use TRSI all the time, and have had no issues.

The only item that I have received from TRSI that was damaged was Innocent Venus Vol. 2 + Artbox. The DVD was fine it was just the artbox was smashed during shipping.

Since this item was in the bargain bin blowout sale the CSR sent me a replacement free of charge and told me not to worry about sending the damaged one back.

It was on sale at a very low price and it would end up costing more & taking more time to send it back and then for them to ship a replacement.

I believe it's only an additional 10% off if you're part of the "Got Anime" team.

Has anyone ordered from their Bargain Bin?

It seems like those items have some type of defect?

They're all usually perfectly healthy merchandise.

Items given the bargain bin treatment, I suspect, are items that are not selling well and/or are older titles. To move stock, often times a company will slash prices to liquidate products. Unsold items is a havoc on finances.

That it is.... it cost them more in the long run for storage space, so they'd rather give it away than just have it sitting around.

I just got a heck of a lot of single DVD's like Eureka7-Galaxy Railways for a smoking price. Bargain Bin. (I even paid for the bonus pack on the first and 3rd of E7 to get t-shirts and music. )
I am going to sorta miss the days of extras given with the purchase of a dvd. :'(
