Of the nearly fifty orders I placed with them in the past year. I've only had a few troubles. Gantz vol. 7 w/art box, the art box was dented in slightly, but with a little pressure, that was fixed. Sometimes things like that happen. Their packaging is not bad, although occasionally, large orders might end up having some slightly damaged items from bumping against each other during shipment.
A couple volumes of manga was dinged up a little at the bottom area of the spine. That only happened three or four times to a volume, nothing serious though.

Yeah, I was a little tired when I wrote that. Anyways, I never meant to imply it was RightStuf's fault at that, just forgot to elaborate on my review. Things like that happens sometimes during shipment (horrible story one time, although lucky at the same time. Accidentally ordered two copies of DearS box sets once on Amazon. One was misdirected and returned completely damaged, and the other arrived safely, got a refund for the misdirected one)
Having received plenty of boxes over the years, I'm glad how things turn out for the most part, I just wish that the packaging was a little better besides cardboard liner and packaging paper. Much better than other shops/sellers I've ordered from by far (some only sends the dvds or box set with little to no packaging at all)

Honestly, the coupon and sign up process is a little messy. I put things into my cart, signed up, then entered the code after 5 minutes(had to recheck with the person buying) and it lost the items somehow. So, I re-entered the DVDs and it said I wasn't a new customer, so the coupon was eligible. I had to re-sign up through a different e-mail address, re-enter my address, and re-select my items. I finally got it all done. Now, to wait for the items to arrive...

I've ordered from then a few times. Awesome deals. However, my Twelve Kingdoms shirt is on backorder. *cries* Hopefully, I'll get it someday. Anyway, I had a oproblem with Scrapped Princess when I ordered it. Kinda my fault though. There was a sale on Wolf's Rain and Scrapped Princess. I checked out with Wolf's Rain but, I wanted Scrapped Princess instead. Therefore, I emailed them asking them to change it. They did so, charging me full price. I emailed back and asked them if I could get Scrapped princess 40% off, since it was advertised as being 40% off. They told me they did not want to for whatever reason, but "graciously" took 30% off in the end. I thought I was in the right, but who knows?

As a general rule, I like RightStuf as a vendor. Their sale prices are really reasonable and I have gotten some great bargains during the holidays and from their Bargain Bin. My only complaint is that the GotAnime discounts are applied after your order is submitted. It would be better if the discount was applied before the sale was completed so I could know exactly how much I was being charged. I think that their shipping fees are reasonable but I have found myself buying more than $49.00 to avoid the shipping charge.

I've been buying anime from Rightstuf International for about 7 or 8 years, on and off. I never really had a problem with them at all, that I can remember. They have a great selection of DVDs and other anime/manga related merchandise. I really like their weekly specials, since you can find awesome deals on certain box sets or single DVDs. Their shipping costs don't bother me at all, since the other places I buy anime from online charges around the same prices. As far as their customer service, I can't really comment on that, since I haven't had to get in touch with them about any kind of problem(s).

Right Stuf is one of my favorite places to get anime. They always have weekly specials, and "Shawnee's Deal of the Day" ( Daily special that offers a reduced price on random items with a 1 time pass option ) They constantly have sales often by vendor, on anime, manga, and other merchandise. I highly reccomend this company, as I have consistantly bought from them over the last 10 years, and have only 1 shipping problem in which the merchandise was damaged. The return process was not overly lenghty and the CSR's were polite, friendly and understanding. As of earlier this year they now also have their own label "Nozami Entertainment" So they not only distribute other companie's anime, but liscence their own as well.

This place is awesome. They have many things other than just the DVDs. and have weekly specials and close out prices too; If you lucky sometimes you may catch a bundled vol set at a much cheaper price than buying the vols individually.
