Hey I almost got the complete set of Starship Troopers Roughneck Chronicles for $20 but I wanted to get free shipping so I was trying to find something to get it with. but then it went up in price because I waited. The reason was probably because of that copy not really being made anymore. Same I could say about Transformers G1 right before Sony bought the rights to it. Sad to say because of Sony you will never see all the episodes of GI JOE because some episodes only aired on TV and the last few that were going to be done were about to be released and they didn't release it. But I do like amazon you just have to be careful like any other site.

I order boxed sets from Amazon (Fruits Basket) and manga. I have never had a problem with an order. I do pay for premium membership at Amazon. It is $79 per year, but includes free 2 day shipping on almost all books, dvds, etc (not used products though). To me it's worth it; I would spend that much on shipping just during the holidays and I am impatient. Their super saver shipping can take weeks.

I have also never had a problem returning anything to Amazon. Plus, the Wish List feature is very handy. Helps me plan out my spending for months to come and keep track of items that haven't been issued yet.

Amazon does have a large variety to choose from, but I've found them rather careless with the packaging itself. My books always arrived slightly damaged, so I don't buy things like that from them anymore.

Im a Prime Member so I order stuff from Amazon all the time. I have never had a problem. What you have to do is watch prices. They often have sales and stuff on anime / manga. I usually buy manga from them with there 4 for 3 book promotion, you buy 3 manga and get a 4th free so it brings down the price alot when you are saving 10 bucks. Also if you watch they often have sales on anime titles. Like I bought My-Hime titles from them at like 60% off.

I use Amazon all the time for my books but I will only buy A book for 1p as the P&P for shipping books in the UK is always £2.75. I haven't had a problem untill recently, I ordered a book that was listed as V.Good quality but when it arrived the cover was faded (from sunlight exposure) and the spine was badly damaged, and some of the pages were stuck together. I was very dissapointed and annoyed. I would have sent that book back but I couldn't find another copy.

It is the first time I have had a problem with Amazon but I'm not too sure about it now.

if it said v-good quality it must have been through amazon market, so techniquly amazon did nothing wrong as all they did was act as a market place for the person who sold you the book

ive found the best deals in amazon market. its inherently very competitive, so much so that alot of the vendors have lower prices on amazon than on their own websites.

i just bought Sabermarionette J, including shipping, for $26 from DVD Planet through Amazon market. if you go to DVD Planet's website though, its going to cost you 30 bucks and thats before shipping (they might not have a shipping charge, i didnt check).

My mom and I buy some from anime and manga from there. It's awesome. Whatever we ordered gets to our house in a reasonable amount of time. They also have a lot of stuff. I think that there were only a couple of things that we looked up that they didn't have.

Amazon is a good place to find stuff in stock when other sites don't have them. They are a little more expensive though. And if you're buying from individual sellers, then try ebay first.
