Do not start any threads in the Vendors Reviews section
If a store is currently listed in the Anime Vendors List, it will have a corresponding thread in this section of the forum. All threads will be started by a moderator only, so it has the correct header format and applicable information attached. You may not start a thread for a store that isn't listed. Remember that stores that aren't listed either sell bootlegs (which means under no circumstances will they be discussed in the reviews section), or it hasn't been added yet. You can fill out the comment form to suggest a site to add, and if the store is legit, the thread here will be created by a moderator upon entry. Do not post any non-review comments Posts such as "what do you think of this store?" will be immediately deleted. If posts have already been made, please read the rest of the thread to answer that question. If not, you'll need to wait for people to respond with reviews. Posts in this section should either be a direct review of a store, or something highly applicable to someone else's review (such as adding your own anecdote about something someone else mentioned, since you had the same experience). In general, try to avoid extraneous comments. You are allowed to ask questions about someone's review for clarity, but please try to not clutter up the review threads with much other than reviews. All it will do is force the users to scroll quite a bit to read the actual reviews, otherwise. |

A question: Doesn't vBulletin have a feature or a mod to only enable thread starting for moderators, like in IPB? Otherwise that's almost asking for the spam like the certain recent thread...

You can tell a lot about a nation by its language. For instance, American has more slang words for money and guns than any other tongue. The French term terroir has no translations and is used by wine enthusiasts in all countries. Japanese is the only language to have separate words for child porn with girls and with boys. |
