All anime dvd

Site I stumbled upon whilst looking for Anime Soundtracks.

Was thinking of buying a few. I know there imports but I'm hesitate they are legit. I'm thinking they may be from Taiwan.

Any one done business with them?

yeah they look like bootlegs to me, 3 disk series = bootleg

Definitely bootleg. Like previously stated, the disc numbers are wrong. They have English and Chinese subtitles. Chinese? It just so happens that most of the bootleg DVDs are made in Hong Kong. So, that is another giveaway.

I have nothing to add to the conversation, so I shall simply relate a long, boring DVD-related story of mine:

You see, I've always been a fan of Akira Kurosawa. So I managed to find a box set of all his movies. I felt so lucky. Sure, it wasn't from Criterion, but it could still be good, right? WRONG! The translations were unspeakably bad. The movie Ikiru was written all in capital letters and didn't even have the letter "I" in the subtitles anywhere. According to the movie I was watching "LKLRU." Sanshiro Sugata, an epic film about judo was now apparently about "karate" and all the characters were named "Chin" and "Li." The video quality was so bad I had trouble figuring out what was going on in the early ones. And despite the claim that this was a complete set of his movies some of them were conspicuously absent (such as High and Low and Dodesukaden and Throne of Blood. THRONE OF FUCKING BLOOD! That might be my favorite of all his films and they didn't have it!). And to top it all off, all the words on the disks and the menus were in chinese so I didn't know what the hell I was watching until I put it in te player, and even then I wasn't too sure what to press to get it to play in english.



Okay, long story short: If someone is selling DVDs that sound too good to be true, they probably are.

Well, it was actually a gift. I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, so to speak, but sheesh!

i got a bootleg copy of death note in malaysia tosee if it was any good and here is what it said Rem "The human names that are remebered in this pen writing will dead"

Well thanks everyone for the remarks and stories. lol I wasn't looking into the Dvds just the Cds, but upon further review there the same as the cheap ones on Ebay which are NOT done by Japanimation. So I guess its back to Amazon and the $30-60 prices I think I'll just buy 3 for now. Going to buy Claymore, Rozen Maiden, and Gunslinger Girl OSTs. Then wait till next month to buy a few more. Im still pondering whether to get that $180+ dollar Elfen Lied OST.

BTW: yes silly me just now re-read the rules for this section. My apologies. Mods can delete ne time, or just leave up to inform others this isn't a place to buy from.
