General Info:
For those that don't know Taobao is basically a chinese ebay and it is a huge source for cosplay goodies! Like ebay you can find amazing deals on this site. Taobao has easily become the premiere source of cosplay wigs in the world.

The benefit of Taobao is the cheap prices and ironically better quality products. Wigs for example are some of the highest quality I have ever seen and for the price they are a huge bargain. A word of warning just like ebay there are less quality shops on Taobao. Luckily each shop has a rating associated with them. Shops with high ratings are generally very reliable sellers.

I purchased two wigs from this shop (¡¾YUKI¡¿CODE GEASS·´Åѵij·ÐÞ °¢Äáæ« cosplay¼ÙóŒ cos¼Ù·¢-ÌÔ±¦Íø and ¡¾YUKI¡¿CODE GEASS·´Åѵij·ÐÞ »ùŵ cosplay¼ÙóŒ cos¼Ù·¢-ÌÔ±¦Íø) and was impressed with both. To be quite honest the pictures do not give these wigs any justice. This shop uses high quality fibers for their wigs and it really shows. I believe this shop also makes their products to order because my wigs showed up pre-stylized which is a bonus! Shipment was prompt and fast. Prices are average to high on this site, but I feel the product is worth it. My only con for this shop is the wigs had fly-away hairs that needed trimmed. These were obviously missed by the stylist. This is a very minor con!
TL;DR: Great wigs and average prices. Fast shipment and arrival.

This shop has an insane collection of high quality cosplay. These costumes are made to order (I believe keep reading) so they will fit you perfect as long as you provide proper measurements to the seller \ agent. The item I ordered was for my girlfriend ([127) and it looks exactly like the photo. When she put it on it fit her well. The corset portion was perfect and so was arm (gloves) length though the dresses length was slightly long, but my girlfriend is a shorty so it was to be expected. Prices are actually pretty low as well though if you buy a large dress like this expect the cost of shipping to be as much as the outfit!!!! This site has one large con though. It takes them forever to complete an order (This order took around 3 months to arrive) and I think it's because each outfit is created to order or at least modified to order. Most coplsay shops have pre-made, conventional sizes (S, M, L, XL, etc) but this shop uses measurements.
TL;DR: Buy from this shop if you can wait a few months for a quality outfit. If you need something quick look elsewhere.

Taobaospree.com - Taobao Agent
Those of us that cannot speak fluent chinese or want to order from shops that do not ship internationally need a agent to help us out. Taobaospree I have used once and they are quite friendly. Basically how they operate is your order request gets sent to a taobaospree manager then they take your request and assign it to a agent. I think they try and assign agents that are familiar with the products you are buying because my agent had much experience ordering cosplay wigs and the associated shops I was inquiring about. Obviously using an agent is not free and they take either a percentage of your total bill or a flat rate. Basically it's a better deal to use a agent when your buying in bulk and from multiple different shops. The agent I had was quick and too the point. They don't beat around the bush and they were honest with the products / shops in my order before they ordered them. This was nice as I got a second opinion on the order before it was placed.
TL;DR: Friendly, quick and honest. Average service charge rates for taobao agents.
