Wow, Funky, that comment was not aimed at you in any way! There have been a few other reviewers make comments about my rants being the best, so it was a tongue in cheek comment. You really seem to have blown this one out of proporrtion >.<

I didn't "drop a line" about PaniPants, as I thought the buddy group had finished. I marathoned the last 15 eps in a day, sad I know, then got the review finished. If you want credit for your comment, I'll happily give it in the review.

Again, not sure why you think I have a grudge with you, as I certainly don't. Although posting private messages on the forum is a pretty shitty thing to do....

Every line was directed at me. =(

The venomous line
the One trick pony.
The British mannerisms.
The entire first part, could have been directed at someone else I suppose, but it sure seemed to be aimed at ol funk. =(
Then there is a middle finger. I am not sure how tongue in cheek it felt, or why I would not be overblown .

I said nothing wrong about the British mannerism, I just wondered what they meant. I said I liked them to either you or Vivis one time in a review previous to this one. I was not as worried about that as venom and trick.

Anyhow, I thought through the course of that conversation on DearS we were still friends, and I thought you were letting me know that you had just hit a string of bad shows. I did not respond further, figuring you showed me my error.

I did not think about the fact you would probably not want what you wrote on there. It did not look like anything that you would not have just posted on the forums, but I did not think sorry.

When I saw you had gone ahead and watched it, then did a review, I thought, well I guess i was not good enough to discuss this with. maybe it takes away from the good material that goes into a review? If that is the case then I totally understand.
It would have just been nice to know.

As for why I probably was a bit overblown, I did notice for a bit you had a PaniPoni dash pic with a middle finger. I thought I hope your not angry about anything ... then i read this.

It really was not knocking your written work I thought you all sort of gave advice and such on here, I clammed up after talking with you on that Dear S one.

My past few reviews have had footnotes explaining what some of my language meant. Bogling will only be a word known to a few British people, hence my comment about teaching the masses.

The one trick pony has not been said by you, or anyone else. I was making use of my vocabulary and trying to get across the point that most positive comments about my writing have been for the rants. Feel free to ask any other reviewer.

Again, neither you nor anyone else has used "venemous", so how you get that ANY of this was aimed at you is beyond me.

I guess I didn't discuss it, because I didn't have anything new to bring to the table, apart from "it was shit". The buddy group seemed to have completely died, so I appologise for not coming back. I just figured noone wanted to talk about the shows failings.

As I said, I don't even remember what it was that was supposed to have made me mad. Other people have said much worse about the DearS review, so don't worry about it. Being called an idiot all comes as part and parcel of the reviewing process ^^

I love a good funny battering review as anyone else, but usually from people who genuinely neutral about a show, or were at most looking for a good show, only to find it personally dreadful. (dip that quill in poison I say!)

However, sometimes it comes off as shallow if the reviewer just looked for a bad show to make a bad review. Now, this is probably not the case, And if what your saying about Pita Ten is bucking a mold, then what I am saying has no bearing at all. But I guess I just worry when you are sifting through "poop" I would not want to see you turn into a one trick pony. ;) ...

I never heard you ever use One Trick Pony before. I however use it on occasion.
I am not entirely sure if you read it Unconsciously and it showed up here, but
a line written by me and used in this review. So that is why it felt a bit personal.

I suppose put yourself in my shoes for a sec and read that first paragraph, knowing what you wrote down that saying, and that is how I came to my conclusion. If it was not a forbatum line I might have thought otherwise. the venom part and Posion may have been not in perfect order, but I did not see anyone else use poison/venom in talking about your reviews, and not being too far from the other line it seemed to connect.

KiraRin: I'd actually recommend cutting the first paragraph for reasons unrelated to Funkgun's mildly hilarious overreaction. Most readers aren't going to care at all about your critics, why you wrote the review to silence them, etc. They'll be reading to see what you thought of Hare + Guu, and in that context the paragraph is irrelevant and unnecessary.

Otherwise a nice review. Keep bringing on the Britishisms. ;)

Oh, I don't mind now, she told me it was not aimed at me. I believe her. =) Maybe it is therapeutic.

I dont think I have ever overblown something before. so It is fun to do it at least once.
