I must of read it as soon as you posted it around 3am here. Hmmm I think you've injected a bit too many personal feelings into it and didn't keep you approach analytical enough. It also seems a bit long winded. In keeping in accordance with what you rated the 1st season. I think the overall still should have been a bit higher, maybe around 6.5. I agree with your ratings of the sound animation spot on.

It is almost (see GTO) one of the best anime ending of all times. Awesome insert song too. I LOVE it!

After reading the review, I have to say that I agree with what VivisQueen is saying. Season 1 was much better. Anyway, moving on to Gundam 00 season 2

I have to disagree there. It was decent enough, I guess, but much too melodramatic (see: Gundam :P) to be the greatest ending. I've seen much better endings in the past that are actually semi-believable.

I agree with everything Vivisqueen said in her review and I actually feel she was too kind in her marking. If anything, from a more analytical perspective and less emotional-response perspective, the series ends up doing worse.

Mind pointing out one or two moments when I'm too 'personal feelings'? A couple should be enough to allow me to consider further edits. Although, I should point out that my personal feelings are that I'm emotionally satisfied; my rational analysis, however, is that Code Geass R2 does not continue the quality of S1 and thus fails as a good piece of fiction. Like FalseDawn said, if you want me to get more cold/calculating, then I suggest you be prepared that I will rate it worse.

Of course, I will take any critique suggesting that I'm being too emotional seriously - my reviews aren't meant to come across that way.

EDIT: Incidentally, I had a difficult time rating R2. I was torn between the sentimental afterglow of having completed the series making me want to give it something higher, and the actual understanding that the finished product is complete nonsense. In the end, I rated it similarly to another show I thought had generally the same problems i.e. emotionally captivating but flawed to shit - Ayashi no Ceres.

Excerpts like this (though i concur) should be left out. Its also kinda of a spoiler too as the reader (who i presume has not seen the series yet may be disappointed to find out already that those characters do not perish.

I do find these comments funny, but for a review are not needed. (Thats if you like your reviews cold)

When I was talking about raiting it a lil higher, that was based off of how you rated S1. But If you rated from a more analytical approach then yes you would defn be rating it lower.
