I must of read it as soon as you posted it around 3am here. Hmmm I think you've injected a bit too many personal feelings into it and didn't keep you approach analytical enough. It also seems a bit long winded. In keeping in accordance with what you rated the 1st season. I think the overall still should have been a bit higher, maybe around 6.5. I agree with your ratings of the sound animation spot on.

After reading the review, I have to say that I agree with what VivisQueen is saying. Season 1 was much better. Anyway, moving on to Gundam 00 season 2

I have to disagree there. It was decent enough, I guess, but much too melodramatic (see: Gundam :P) to be the greatest ending. I've seen much better endings in the past that are actually semi-believable. I agree with everything Vivisqueen said in her review and I actually feel she was too kind in her marking. If anything, from a more analytical perspective and less emotional-response perspective, the series ends up doing worse. |

Of course, I will take any critique suggesting that I'm being too emotional seriously - my reviews aren't meant to come across that way. EDIT: Incidentally, I had a difficult time rating R2. I was torn between the sentimental afterglow of having completed the series making me want to give it something higher, and the actual understanding that the finished product is complete nonsense. In the end, I rated it similarly to another show I thought had generally the same problems i.e. emotionally captivating but flawed to shit - Ayashi no Ceres.

When I was talking about raiting it a lil higher, that was based off of how you rated S1. But If you rated from a more analytical approach then yes you would defn be rating it lower. |
