Good review and I agree with it mostly (I actually think you were a little kind on the series), but this caught my attention:

Lol. Kind? Me??? Can you tell me where you think I was being kind? Which parts did you think were worse than I'm claiming? I'll see if I agree and maybe amend my ratings/comments accordingly.

I will also look to amending that final comment if it's still too 'sex metaphor' (it was worse than this before - Sheex told me to tone it down and this was the result. Lol.)

Giving the character mark a 7 is quite kind, I reckon. While Yuuki is one of my favourite anime girls ever, she's horribly unoriginal for most of it and there's just not as much depth of thought as there are in similar titles (like Ouran, where Haruhi is a great example of a character with depth). Zero's emo-ness also gets annoying pretty fast, even if it is explained by his condition. And then Lord Bishie himself, Kaname Kuran - I just feel like I've seen his persona before done so much better. I agree with most of what you said in the section, just think that the mark was kind.

Also, no mention of how every female character looks positively anorexic? Especially Yuuki! When I saw her character design, I thought she was actually a vampire, she's so thin and waif-like.

So yeah, you were kind ^_^ Having said all that though, I have enjoyed the series and will probably watch the second helping when it comes out.

EDIT: Actually, none of the females seemed any more anorexic than in any other kind of anime of this kind e.g. Ouran. Also, maybe I've been watching Code Geass too long, but I'm surprised when characters aren't like walking twigs. Lol.

Ha, good point. I forgot about Geass and their triangular jaws.

I'm so glad I wasted hours of my life on this show..... the only redeeming thing for me was the ending credits song.

Looking at your sig, I have to wonder why you even picked up a shoujo title...
