Really liked it i would suggest it, hmm this would no doubt reach my top 15, probobly somewhere between like 5 and 12 lol
story- 10
characters- 8
sound- 8
animation- 9
overal- 8.5

Seems like I liked this more than i would like a regual 8.5, The story is unique a group of woman slayers half demon i guess you would say half human who go slaying demons but must always keep the human side of them or they will become whats called an Awakened being. I cant really think of the sounds in the show but i know i had no complaints nor thoughts much of the quality so i would call that an 8. The characters you grow to like but their not really connectable to hah well least i didnt idk maybe if your family is eaten by demons you can relate. Another key strength to the show is its graphicly beautiful the fights are awsome and no doubt the key to this show. Its a darker more violent show and thats alright. A must see no doubt.

Finished Claymore a few weeks ago. At first I thought it would be one of those typical monsters of the week tale that is so common but after a few episodes, I was really hooked. The dynamics between the characters, both major and minor, were excellent. The story had adventure, intrigue, and poignancy, especially the interaction between Clare and Raki and also Clare and Teresa. The animation was fluid and very well done and the music contributed well to create the overall atmosphere. On a whole, I can't wait for Funimation to complete this series so that I can add it to my collection. I gave this series 8.5/10 and an excellent rating. It was well worth my time.

Just as a word of advice: such a statement is useless without having a massive top 20 list which no one would read. Okay, if it was top 3 or something, that's worth commenting on - but top 15? How do we know you've watched more than 15 series? :S

So yeah, more qualified comments needed in your review!

I absolutely loved this anime. Theres alot of angst about the ending though, but as far as i've read the only change was that the fight with Rigardo was supposed to be the end and but instead they did that fight with Clare going fully yoma and killing Jean with Priscilla instead. As far as I know this was because they were under pressure to finish it quickly and still don't know if another series will be made. Imagine how duped we would all fell having not seen Priscilla fight?

My only beef with the series was Raki, he did nothing! except whine and get in the way. But I know there's a timeskip later on and Raki is a beefed up yoma slaying mf so i guess it balances out.
