btw, If you're familiar with trigun maximum, at what point (if any) does it diverge from/proceed beyond the anime? The fact that I've already seen the anime & the manga is matching it word for word is why I'm stalling on it. Far too much of a "been there, done that" thing going on.
(Yes, I know, the manga technically came first, but still....)

Wow, I do not like that art one bit! I'm considering not reading it because of that O.o
But god yes. Trigun Maximum is considerably different from the anime. The first two trigun mangas, before maximum are word for word, and the first few Trigun Maximum books are kinda simliar, then it just goes crazy different. Also crazy better in my opinion! I personally prefer the manga over the anime :)
