Default [DUPE][QUESTION] Manga volumes and chapters

This question isn't aimed as much on moderators as on other users.

Currently, the volumes of manga on A-P are listed in accordance to how many there are in original Japanese realeases, not scanlated. Chapters are listed ONLY if there is a definite source to confirm the amount of chapters, which usually isn't. Because of this, most manga titles have only volumes filled but not chapters.

My point is, wouldn't it be better to have the amount of volumes filled as it is now (the original japanese releases) and fill the amount of scanlated chapters? (E.g. There's a series that has 6 volumes and 30 chapters and is finished. Of that, 3 volumes and 15 chapters are scanlated. Therefore, the series would be on A-P as havin 6 volumes and 15+ chapters. There could be a note somewhere stating that the amount of chapters doesn't necessarily represent the amount of japanese chapters.) I think it's better to have at least scanlated chapters filled in when it's impossible to find out how many chapters were released in japanese, instead of having only volumes and no chapters.

What do you think? I'm sure this change would only be possible if there are enough users who agree with this, so please post your opinions.

Thank you.
