I take that back, xD there are lots of anime characters with heterochromia. I found 40 - 60 characters with the trait (the number range because several of them fall under the grey-area). Mayumi Thyme from Shuffle, Maki from Darker than Black, Lady from Devil May Cry, Apache from Bleach, Vincent Nightray from PH, etc.
Some grey-area characters: Kakashi Hatake from Naruto, and Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Beebop.
