Not everything, some of those series will NEVER come to North America in english, so that's literally the only way to read them without becoming fluent in Japanese and buying them in Japan... and those ones are legal... until (if they do) they get published in North America...

lol, your avatar fits with what you said pretty well... and it sucks that onemanga and 1000manga are closing, they were the BEST sites I found... it was very convenient and there were almost no adds where you read the actual manga (unlike a lot of sites) which helped the pictures load faster... websites like mangafox and stuff don't work that well in comparison... plus I liked that they had dark backgrounds... websites with white backgrounds sometimes hurt my eyes...
