After 2 months of running the memory at its rated DDR3 1600 speed, with no other overclocking on the system, one of the three sticks failed under normal use.
I sent in an RMA, providing all the necessary details, and stating that I wanted to arrange cross shipping to avoid downtime on the system since i had to return the whole kit for the RMA.
After three days, they marked the ticket acknowledged and asked me for all the information I'd already provided in the ticket (lets read the ticket please, kthx).
After reproviding all the information requested, and noting again that I wanted to arrange for cross shipping, it took an additional 6 days to get it through their heads that I wanted the cross shipping option, and it took escalating it to management (when this option is clearly offered on their RMA FAQ). In several more exchanges back and forth in the ticket, it was repeatedly ignored that I wanted and needed the cross shipping option.
Finally, after 9 days total we got that arranged, and the advance shipment replacement kit was sent. When it arrived a few days later, there was 0 packing material in the box; inside was just the plastic holder for the 3 sticks. Because there was 0 packing material at all, they had all slid out of place. One of the new sticks was wedged into the heat spreader of the stick below it, and that stick was broken as a result and did not post (memory beep error).
I notified them of this, they apologized, and sent an additional replacement stick by FedEx, and told me to just return 4 instead of 3 when it came.
It came several days later and was properly packed in bubble wrap, but it was the wrong part... they sent a DDR1066 stick instead of a DDR1600 stick.
I notified them of this mistake AGAIN and they asked for a picture... sent them one, they apologized again... sent ANOTHER one out... I'm still waiting for that one.
They did send me a prepaid shipping label with this last one though so I don't have to pay return shipping at all, but it has been almost a month now and I *still* don't have properly replaced sticks even when doing cross shipping.
Would not buy again or recommend because of this experience, though the ram was great when it worked.
