Aside from NieA, I've started to like the other characters more, and although none of them are really believable or funny (except for the alien-NUT :P), they're all acceptable.
I kinda like the OP, mostly because the voice reminds me of a combination of Zucchero and Tom Waits (although not nearly as good as either).

The new cast is added so nonchalantly. Genzo is pretty odd.
I agree about NieA, the show should have been called No Need for NieA. Unless she has some amazing change I am going to find her just an annoying fixture in the show.
Still, I am wondering where it is going... if it is going anywhere at all. The mom calling, was about the most drama filled part of the show so far.
