@viva: I think you nailed what was "wrong". Ambivalence. This is a show of middling quality that I actually like a lot, but I think some more focused bashing of Hikari and Amane in the Characters and Overall sections should round out the review.

@Kira: "Lampshading" is a shorthand term for drawing attention to a plot or setting absurdity/inconsistency stolen from TvTropes.org and in no way intended as a form of revenge. ^^; I will try to write around it because linking to the term would be a no-no (the link would go off-site). SP! was my first yuri series (Patches will neither confirm nor deny that he played X-Change, which dabbles in yuri themes--or so he's been told) and I've found it to be a good measuring stick.

EDIT: I will do my best to address these comments today or tomorrow, but with the packing and all, we'll see what I manage. I imagine this will go up soon after I get home from Kentucky.
