These characters are epically pale. This is also the first show I've watched with copious amounts of CG that doesn't make me cringe, it actually fits in this show nicely. I especially like the animation for the OP.

As for the trasformation... thing. That was really cheesy (but I can't pretend it didn't make him uber-attractive). That mustache... do not like. And Eiji is the skinniest boxer ever. Ok, he's flyweight, but he should still have some muscle-mass, right?

I'm pretty sure the innuendo is intentional. There's no way that many can be accidental.
