When I was younger I visited this site and talked to Sothis a bit on one of the built-in chat functions that sites like this have. I've never really lost site of anime-planet and I've come here looking for recommendations from time to time.
Since coming here I've watched a ton of anime, it's consumed my life to some extent (I watched all of Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger) before going to bed this morning. However, that isn't to say that anime is my only interest. I love RPG games and I'm currently playing several on my nintendo DS & Final Fantasy VII on my computer.
I'm 19 and after taking some time off to get to know myself better I'll be going to take several college classes in the fall as well as re-applying for my first-choice college in the spring (it's just a matter of time before I'll be back there--Guilford College, Greensboro, NC).

Anyway, I'd really love to start contributing to this community and getting to know everyone~
