I've only ordered from them twice now, one is still a preorder, one I'm still waiting on the package to arrive. But of course, ordering from here will only get you R2 DVDs and manga, mostly stuff you'd get in Japan. You definitely have to surf the website in Japanese, Japanese language is a prerequisite, not much required though, as you can register in English.
Their preorder listings are great, I saw Midori no Hibi R2 DVD preorders well before the official site even listed them (and was sooo happy i clicked away). Their prices are pretty good too, it's not always what's listed (always check the statement just before you place the order, they remove the tax). Preorders get you 20-25% off most of the times, Midori DVD Vol.1 went from 12,600 yen to about 10,000 yen. I usually get manga for about 390 yen.
The shipping is where it hurts. While the site boasts free shipping in Japan on orders over 1500 yen, International shipping has no such deal. Ordering a set of mangas cost me 3000 yen for S&H. DVDs cost me 4500 yen. That's roughly $30 and $45 respectively, so as you can see, I won't be ordering too much of these. My best advice would be to order in bulk.
Unless you have a passion for Anime/Manga that well exceeds the average otaku level, you shouldn't be shopping here. Otherwise, I'm still looking for alternate Japanese websites shipping internationally (shipping hurts ._.).
