It kind of sucks that they are reducing the stores who don't sell that much anime. I think in this economy it is a bright idea for the company. However, for us the consumer it isn't. If they Advertised a bit more on the selection they did have and Possibly sell the anime for a reasonable price they wouldn't have to change their sales strategy.
Another bad thing is that the list that anime news network had was kinda hard to read. It took me about 20 minutes to find all the store in new york that was being affected. They should of grouped the stores by state. It would of made it easier to find it. I did that. I took the list and just formatted the whole list in a way that I grouped it so it was easier to read. But then again I was bored at work and needed something better to do.
